TREATMENT
This is the treatment we used for the UNIT 41 Eclectic session, in this treatment we cover what we want from the band in terms of a final outcome. As well as what Eclectic sessions are, equipment we will be using, location of the sessions, time of the session as well as information regarding the location.

STORYBOARD
/SCRIPT
This is the storyboard used for the Access To Music live session. We were able to produce a storyboard as we did a recce on the location to see the size of the venue, any potential hazards/obstructions. As the event was live we couldn't write to storyboard to plan it so we produced a storyboard knowing our location and the band we'd have in order to produce a outline we can follow in pre production. The storyboard/script contains planned visuals for the event, equipment as well as notes to follow.

LOCATION RECCE
&
SET DESIGN/PROPS
This is the Location Recce used for the live Eclectic session at Access to Music. The Recce is used to cover many considerations from Local conditions to "Power, lighting and sound. This Recce follows a professional style abroach to Recce producing covering many variables that can effect the outcome of the final piece.

This is the set design for the Access To Music. We Recce'd the location and comprised a storyboard from that while another student created a set design from it. This set design shows where equipment will be placed as well as where people will be positioned in the room other than the band. It's important to know what our space will look like so we can plan around it.

ACCESS TO MUSIC RISK ASSESSMENT
This is the risk assessment we used for the live music session we held at Access To Music. In this risk assessment we outlined the more obvious issues with the location for crews and acts throughout the day to be aware of.

ACCESS TO MUSIC CALL SHEET
This is the call sheet used for the access to music live session. This call sheet contains the names of the crew who recorded the session as well as time, date, contact information and role.

SETTING UP APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT
Equipment transported to Access To music: 4 DSLR Cameras, 3 tripods, audio recorder, LED light kit, slider and the baggage to carry said equipment.
Equipment Locations:
- Cameras: we set up 3 cameras at the front of the band, one front left to far right (tripod), one facing the front of the band (Slider and Tripod) then right to far left (tripod) then the final camera set up at the back of the band (handheld). We did this to get the primary non moving shots that we can always cut back to whilst editing. After that we then filmed with the sames cameras handheld to get close of and specific shots.
- Lights: We added two LED lights to the room as well as using some of the rooms lights. We highlighted the front of the band to give sem a crisp yet soft exposure and lit the back of the room to bounce some light around the room.
- Audio recorder: The audio recorder was behind the filming crew being managed by a member of crew.
BANDS EQUIPMENT/ACCESS TO MUSIC EQUIPMENT
Mics and mic stands: Access to music supplied the band with mics and mic stands as well as a power source for them.
Amps: The amps were supplied by Access to music so neither us or the band needed to bring any.
Powe source: Access to music had plenty of plug sockets for us to plug equipment in, no other means of poer was required.

APPLYING APPROPRIATE VISUAL EFFECTS AND TRANSITIONS

Visual effects: In this edit the main visual effect utalized is colour correction as you can see in the image below (in source screen), the colour looks washed out, then the image above (in source screen) has been edited. With a stronger contrast and enrichened colours it now looks much more rich in colour. The reason we had to do this is we were using different cameras for different angles and some produced a more washed out look then others produced a rich look.

Visual effects: Other visual effects used in this edit were fades in and out of shots. This is used when a jump cut just doesn't look right or a fade would be more appealing along with the music.

Lumitri scope weas used for colour correction, we picked a clip that we like the look of in terms of richness in colour, contrast and viewing appeal. The way it works is we picked a clip with the desired look we want and bring the clips with the undesirable up to that standard in again, terms of richness, contrast and visual appeal.
Rushes Log

This is all of the footage and audio from the Access to music live sessions. We have three main folders for footage, Wide Shots, Side Shots and close ups. Below is the contents of each folder.
WIDE SHOTS

This is the wide shot folder, these shots act at the foundation of the film as these shots will run the full duration on the song and can always be cut back to.
SIDE SHOTS

This folder shows the "side shots" that were used for the Access to music live music sessio. These were used as cut aways from the "Wide shots". In this folder we also have the title for the band "Fangs Of The Dodo".
CLOSE UP SHOTS

These are the close up shots used for the access to music live session with Fangs Of The Dogo, the close up shots are used in the same way as the side shots. They are used to break away from the wide shot and have a more focused specific view capturing a moment that would be missed in a wide shot.
